From The Manager’s Desk

Dear Students

Helen Keller believed that an educated mind raises more questions than it answers,
and this thought has never been more relevant than in this age. With the explosion of
the internet and knowledge at everyone’s finger tips the dispersing of knowledge in
educational institutions (as sometimes happened in yesteryears) has become rather
redundant. And any institution worth its salt will strive beyond this goal, And Adarsh in
its 92 years of excellence has aimed to meet the needs of the times.

Established to meet the need of the girl child its vision today is to foster a love of
seeking for learning and growth. To grow in mind, body and spirit! To question to
analyse to discover! Fortunately our country has moved forward, beyond the ‘English’
objective to create a generation of clerks. The NEP 2020 has opened doors to critical
thinking, practical learning, flexibility and multi disciplinary education that embraces
inclusivity, skill enhancement and a holistic development. The rest i.e implementation, is
upto Management and teaching staff.

At Adarsh our goal has been to train staff, motivate and inspire them to bring out the
best in students entrusted to their care. And with pride, we can say that our teachers
live up to our expectations. Our academic achievement, the polish and sheen our Std X
graduates acquire, the self confidence and poise our students show and the visits they
make to their alma mater and time again, stand testimony to the dedication, love and
rapport that teacher – student relationship achieves.

W.B Yeats described learning as lighting a fire rather than filling a pail. May the fire that
is lit at Adarsh set ablaze a path in all directions, sparking curiosity and a change for the
better. God bless you dear students.
