Std X English Assignment
Students can chose any one of the following topics-
- Students must create a PowerPoint presentation on any prose, poem or supplementary text from their textbook, “First Flight” and “Footprints without feet”.
The student must create 4 slides each on any topic as mentioned above. The due date will be discussed by the concerned teachers in class. Students must submit a written report on their contribution and understanding of the topic. And also present the PowerPoint to the teacher and the class. The said assignment carries 12 marks.
The criteria for the assignment will be as follows-
- Each slide contains 2 marks= 8 marks
- Oral presentation – 4 marks.
- Students must write the meaning of 4 idioms or proverbs that they come across. Each idiom must be explained with its meaning, its usage and a pictorial to explain the said idioms.
- Meaning-1 mk
- Usage- 1 mk
- Pictorial- 1 mk
Total- 3 * 4 = 12 mks
- Students can write a travelogue on their home state or on Goa. It must be written in 200 words.
- Students must complete a given story. The introduction of the story will be given by the concerned teacher. The story must be completed in 100 words. Alone with this the student must also write any 2 idioms or proverbs. (Same criteria as 2)
