“Change” it is said “is the only certainty in life”. The earth affirms it. Without it there would be no progress no evolution. And so it is with Adarsh V. V. High School. The old order gives way to the new.
A new Headmistress Ms. Svetlana Borges, many new teachers, a new manager….. And so it is we have an infusion of new ideas to match the changes in the education system. To balance this and to keep the school grounded in its age old values and tradition is the work of the Management. Here at Adarsh we will always see a balance that can be considered essential to an educational Institution. While we embrace and even encourage new ideas and innovation we make sure that it is rooted in the values of our forefathers, while moving into the twenty first century.
We at Adarsh are committed to the all round development of body, mind, heart and spirit so that the student is able to face life’s challenges with confidence. To achieve this goal Adarsh V. V. High School has a dedicated team of teachers, administrative and support staff. We also have a special teacher to help children with special needs, a counsellor to guide students through difficult times, a dedicated Librarian and teachers specially trained to conduct activities to encourage reading habits. Adarsh also helps students to enhance their natural talents in singing, dancing, sports, etc. The school is also dedicated to creating awareness of the conservation and preservation of the environment. Students are taught segregation of waste, recycling and we have procured a machine to make recycled paper.
It is true students are kept busy not only in academics but also in social, cultural, spiritual and physical activities. In the words of Henry David Thoreau “It is not enough to be busy, so are the ants. The question is, what are we busy about?”
