Dear students and well-wishers
Adarsh VVHS was established at time when the need of the hour in Goa was uplifting the girl child. Today we have come a long way but we always have tried to reach out to the marginalised and the weak. In keeping with these principles Adarsh Toolar gladly opens its doors to inclusive Education and not just in conjunction with the Right to Education. In this end a special Teacher has been appointed by Seva Samiti and we hope to get a resource.
Another need that we identified is the enhancement of sports and games at the grass root level. Hence Seva Samiti has started a sports program for the students of Adarsh offering sports games like Football, Squay Martial, Taekawando & Gymnastics before and after school. Similarly the reading habit seems to be dormant in most of our children. To enhance these reading skills Seva Samiti has collaborated with Bookworm, Taleigao to have special reading activities and inculcate reading habits.
This website we hope will be another instrument of growth. We would like to see Adarsh keep up with the times. Thus in the words of Robert Frost I believe that
´I have promises to keep
And miles to go before I sleep
